History

The history of Centro Cultiva Salud (CCS) began many years before it was named in its current state. The adventure began in 1998 when Dieter le Noir and his brother Andreas—unaware of the exact path—bought a ranch in Valle de Bravo. The land had been devastated by potato monoculture, saturated with agrochemicals and pesticides that killed the soil fertility and much of the ecosystem's life. At that time, Dieter—an integrative physician—had been working with medicinal plants for years but did not know their cultivation. He soon began to study permaculture and biodynamic agriculture and took the first steps toward the ecosystem's regeneration in what is now known as Rancho La Paz.

He focused on nourishing the soil with compost and green manures for the first three years and restoring bacterial and fungal life to the arid land that would later allow us to grow crops without agrochemicals or pesticides. In other words, a vital chapter of thhistory began two decades ago: cultivating food and medicinal plants in fertile, organic soil.

The experience of healing, regenerating, and cultivating the Earth has been our best guide and has marked the path to an optimal state of health, both external and internal. After condensing and structuring what we learned, in 2020, the knowledge was transformed into a medical protocol guided by Dieter and presented in the Cultiva tu Salud virtual course. Since then, this protocol has been the difference between health and sickness for many, not only during the COVID pandemic but also for those who seek to improve and strengthen their health in a comprehensive, lasting, and harmonious way.

Today, at CCS—led by Dieter together with a committed group of people aware of the fragility of human and environmental health—we conduct scientific research on the purity, potency, and quality of our crops; we channel resources for additional studies on soil fertility; we cultivate more than 100 medicinal plants sustainably and organically; we use them to make premium quality medicinal extracts; we contribute to the nutrition of the children of the communities surrounding Rancho La Paz; and, through our educational platform we share teachings that link environmental, human and food health.
